Donate plasma. Save lives.

A good friend of mine told me about a way I could do my part in helping save lives, all while getting paid for it.

When u donate plasma, your donations are used to produce therapies that treat people with rare, chronic diseases and disorders such as primary immunodeficiency, hemophilia and a genetic lung disease, as well as in the treatment of trauma, burns and shock. Needed medicines are made.

Some people are ashamed to go down to the plasma centers. Not me. As a new donor, I'm glad my ass can do something to give back. The payments may be meager but at least u walk away with the knowledge that ur essence can be used in saving someone's life.

I know a few people who donate & they all tell me the same thing; they were ridiculed, misjudged as lowlifes who were only looking for a quick buck, & assorted other fuckery. I wish a muthafucka would tell me that.

Donating plasma is nothing to be ashamed of. Imagine if someone in ur family needed specific medicine that could only come from someone else's plasma donations. I'd like to thank anyone who has overcome the embarrassment. There's nothing wrong with getting yours while giving yours, feel me?
